Develop a better relationship with your mind, your body, and every part of yourself.
Together, we'll explore what your mind, body, and emotions may be communicating, helping you develop a more trusting relationship with yourself through curiosity and understanding.
You're used to figuring things out.
You show up. Try harder. Try different things. You research. Prepare. Learn. Adjust.
You've done what you know how to do, but something important isn't changing.
So, now what?
What if the next place to look is inside?
Not because we assume something is wrong with you, but because what's happening inside may give us a different way of understanding what you're experiencing.
How I Work
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is the foundation of how I work. It helps us understand why you think, feel, and react the way you do, especially when part of you wants one thing and another part wants something else.
So what does that look like in a session?
We talk, and I ask a lot of questions. Together, we pay attention to your thoughts, your emotions, what's happening in your body, and how you're reacting inside. We look for connections you might not have noticed before.
When something comes up, we don't just point it out and move on. We get curious about what it means and what might be getting in the way, and then we work with what we find.
Is This the Kind of Work You’re Looking For?
Maybe you've tried therapy before and understand yourself better, but something still isn't changing. Maybe you're approaching therapy for the first time and are interested in trying something different.
This work helps you explore what else might be going on, including things you haven't recognized or understood before. Your thoughts, emotions, body, and internal reactions may offer clues that help us understand what's happening and what might need to change.
Together, we get curious, explore, and work with what we discover to help you move toward the changes you're looking for.
A Little About Me
I'm a pretty straightforward person, and that's true in the therapy room too. I'm engaged. I ask questions. I notice things. I may challenge something, wonder about something, laugh with you, or point out something that doesn't quite add up.
